India Donates Two Mi-35 Fighter Helicopters to Afghan Air Force
Our friend country India donated two Mi-35 fighter Helicopters to Afghanistan which are purchased from Belarus country, In a ceremony held at the military airport in Kabul while acting defense minister, Indian and Belarus Ambassadors and Lt. Gen Abdul Fahim Ramin commander of Air Forces Corps were attended, Ambassador of India for Kabul Vinay Kumar officially handed over the Helicopters to Asadullah Khalid acting Ministry of National Defense.
India had already bought two more Mi-35 helicopters from Belarus in the current year and donated to Afghanistan which is in total, these four helicopters have been purchased for $ 20 million.
Mr. Asadullah Khalid thanked the Indian and Belarus country’s for their assistance and emphasized that the Afghan Air Forces are becoming day by day stronger and professional and their efficiency in the fight against the terrorists has gone very high.
The Acting Ministry of National Defense said that Afghan Forces will be using these planes effectively against the terrorists and safeguard the lives and property of the people.
