Acting Minister of National Defense Meets with Uzbekistan’s Delegation

Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, Acting Minister of National Defense, held a meeting in his office today with General Kurbannov Bakhodir, Head of Uzbekistan’s Intelligence Agency, along with his deputy General Mukhtorov Farrukh, General Khasanova Salimjon, Commander of Uzbekistan’s Border forces, and the accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the Uzbekistan’s delegation conveyed their satisfaction with the nationwide security and economic progress in the country, and emphasized the significance of strengthening bilateral relations.

Furthermore, the Acting Minister of National Defense expressed appreciation for the positive stance of the Uzbekistan government regarding Afghanistan on international stages, and highlighted the expansion of relations between the two neighboring countries.

Overall, both sides discussed and exchanged perspectives on border cooperation, communication establishment, and other related matters.
