The Deputy Ambassador of Qatar met with the Defense Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob "Mujahid" Minister of National Defense of the IEA, received the Deputy Ambassador of Qatar, Mr. Murdaf al-Qashouti, at his office in Kabul today.

He appreciated Qatar's persistent support and collaboration with the people of Afghanistan; while strengthening bilateral relations.

During the meeting, the Minister of National Defense characterized Qatar as a friendly and supportive nation for Afghanistan and reiterated the significance of promoting and enhancing sustainable relations with the country.

Additionally, both sides discussed further cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, enhancing the bilateral relations between the two friendly and Islamic countries, along with other related issues.
