Acting Defense Minister Observed Security Situation of Herat Province

Acting Defense Minister Asadullah Khalid along with Commander of U.S. and NATO Forces in Afghanistan Gen. Scott Miller and MOI Senior Security Deputy Gen. Khoshal Sadat traveled to Herat province, today after noon, in order to observe the security situation of the province and meet with ANDSF leadership.

Mr. Khalid met with governor and senior defense and security officials of Herat province, observed security reports and provided necessary guidance for the improvement of security conditions in Herat province.
