20 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 16 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 5 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 13 provinces of the country, as a result, 20 Insurgents were killed and 7 wounded.

Takhar- 5 insurgents were killed and 4 others wounded in an airstrike carried by Afghan Air Forces in Baharak district.

Kandahar- 5 insurgents were killed and 25 rounds of IEDs were recovered & defused in clearing operation conducted by Afghan National Army in Khakrez district.

Nangarhar- 5 insurgents including 1 Taliban local commander were killed and 2 others wounded in ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack and artillery attack in Shirzad & Mohmand Dara districts.

Baghlan- 2 insurgents were killed during ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack in Bala Dour district.

Kunar- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike carried by Afghan Air Forces in Sokay district.

Laghman- one insurgent was killed and another wounded in ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack in Alingar district.

Helmand- one insurgent was killed in ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack in Sangin district.
