Afghan National Army's first literacy course Graduation Ceremony was celebrated in Kabul!
Over 360 soldiers were graduated after received a literacy course program from Joint Combat Command Training Center in Kabul today.
The graduation ceremony of these soldiers was held with the presence of Munira Yusufzada Deputy Defense Minister for Training and Personnel, Maj. Gen Abdul Hadi Tareen commander of General Recruitment, General’s and officers of Ministry of National Defense, Deputy literacy for Ministry of Education and Director of GIZ Administration at the Joint Combat Command Training Center.
Afghan National Army soldiers serve Afghanistan while holding pens in one hand and guns in the other. Our forces protect people's lives and properties and have a special place in people's hearts, said Munira Yusufzada, Ministry of National Defense Deputy for Training and Personnel, at today's graduation ceremony.
The literacy courses for Afghan National Army personnel is a three years program being implemented by GIZ. Its being monitored by Ministry of Education and managed by Minstry of National Defense, the program will be implemented in all Ministry of National Defense educational centers and corps.
