29 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 10 joint offensive & clearance operations, conducted 87 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 98 flights and carried out 8 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 29 Insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Takhar, Helmand, Wardak, Logar, Nangarhar, Kunar, Ghazni, Farah, Ghor, Badghis and Faryab provinces.

Takhar- 12 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in airstrikes in Ishkamish district.   

Helmand- 10 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Nahar Saraj & Kajaki districts.

Wardak- 4 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes in Nirkh and Sayed Abad districts.

Logar- 3 insurgents including a Haqqani Prominent Commander and Procurement in charge were killed, 1 motorbike, 6 mobile (smart phone), 3 ID-Tazkera and some documents were seized in clearing operations & airstrikes in Pol-e Alam district.
