65 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 15 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 20 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 11 provinces of the country, as a result, 65 Insurgents were killed, 9 were wounded and 5 suspects were detained.

Zabul- 17 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded in response attacks & airstrikes in Arghandab, Shah Joy districts and province capital.

Ghazni- 17 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Muqur and Andar districts.

Farah- 13 insurgents were killed in airstrike in vicinities of the province capital.

Nangarhar- 7 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Achin district.

Paktia- 5 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded, 4 suspects were arrested, 2 motorbikes, 37 mobile (phone), 7 camera, 1 computer (laptop), 7 USB flash drive, 7 driver license, 8 Afghani passports, 1 Pakistani passport, 1000 identity card of elections, 10 ID-Tazkera, large documents belong to Taliban and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in Joint Special Operation, an airstrikes and response attacks in Mirzaka, Samkanay and Haji Aryoub districts.

Helmand- 4 insurgents were killed and another was wounded in airstrikes in Washir district.

Faryab- 2 insurgents were killed, 6 motorbikes, 2 depots of munitions, 2 hideouts, 6 fighting positions were destroyed and 3 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in Joint Special Operation in Almar district.

Logar- one suspect was detained, 12 motorbikes, amount of weapons & ammunition, 30 barrels of anti-vehicle IEDs and 1 narcotics drugs facility were destroyed in Joint Special Operation in Kharwar district.
