First Deputy of Defense Ministry Traveled to Nangarhar Province in Order to Observe the Security Situation of Eastern Zone

First Deputy of MoD Lieutenant-General. Yaseen Zia, Chief of NDS Masoom Stanikzai and Commander of U.S. Forces in Afghanistan General. Scott Miller traveled to Nangarhar province in order to observe the security situation of the Eastern-Zone, especially Nangarhar province.

Security Senior Officials met with ANDSF leadership. After listening to the reports for improvement of security situation, officials provided necessary guidance on the issue. The security checkpoints of Border-Police in Goshta district of Nangarhar province were also observed closely on this travel.
