51 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 146 joint offensive & clearance operations, conducted 81 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 178 flights and carried out 14 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 51 Insurgents were killed and 27 were wounded.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Logar, Uruzgan, Farah, Nangarhar, Faryab, Helmand, Takhar, Takhar, Balkh, Badghis, Ghazni, Wardak and Paktika provinces.

Logar- 30 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded, 1 vehicle and 3 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in Charkh & Baraki Barak districts.

Uruzgan- 13 insurgents were killed, 10 were wounded and 10 different rounds of IEDs were discovered & destroyed in airstrikes in Char chino district and Trenkut capital of Uruzgan.

Farah- 5 insurgents were killed and 11 were wounded in airstrikes in Balabulok district.

Nangarhar- 2 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in clearing operation in Khogyani district.  

Faryab- one insurgent was killed and 3 were wounded in clearing operation in Almar district.
