64 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 19 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 27 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 16 provinces of the country, as a result, 64 Insurgents were killed, 26 were wounded and 5 suspects were detained.  

Laghman- 21 insurgents including Zinulabuddin Taliban shadow governor, Qari Maraj Taliban shadow district governor for Alingar and a number of Taliban local commanders were killed and 15 other were wounded in airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Basram village of the Alishing district.

Helmand- 13 insurgents were killed, 4 hideouts, 3 fighting positions and 2 vehicles were destroyed, amount of weapons & munitions were seized and 8 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation conducted by Special Forces with support of Air Forces in Nahar Saraj district.

Ghazni- 10 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces in Dehyak district and number 1 highways.

Samangan- 7 insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Dara Suf district.

Badakhshan- 6 insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Nasay district.

Uruzgan- 5 insurgents were killed and 7 other were wounded, 1 vehicle and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Khas-Uruzgan district.

Herat- 4 insurgents including 2 Taliban local commanders were killed, 1 wounded and 5 suspects were arrested, 2 vehicles were destroyed in Joint Special Operation conducted by ANDSF and airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Zahwal, Shindan and Gulran districts.

Balkh- 4 insurgents were killed and 2 vehicles were destroyed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Kashinda and Charbulak districts.

Nangarhar- 2 insurgents were killed and 1 enemy hideout was destroyed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Khogyani district.

Kunduz- 2 insurgents were killed in Joint Special Operation conducted by ANDSF in Char Dara district.
