109 Insurgents Were Killed!
Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 17 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 29 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 13 provinces of the country, as a result, 109 Insurgents were killed, 45 were wounded and 5 were detained.
Uruzgan- 30 insurgents were killed and 6 were wounded, 1 motorbike, 3 hideouts, 10 tunnels, 1300 kg explosives were destroyed and 23 IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation conducted by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces with support of Air Forces in Deh Rahwod, Khas-Uruzgan districts and province capital.
Balkh- 22 insurgents were killed, 18 were wounded and 11 hideouts were destroyed in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces in Charbulak and Balkh districts.
Helmand- 18 insurgents were killed and another was wounded in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Marja and Nad Ali districts.
Logar- 12 insurgents were killed and 1 depot of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in ANDSF clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Mohammad Agha district and province capital.
Kapisa- 9 insurgents were killed and 4 enemy hideouts were destroyed in airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Nijrab district.
Baghalan- 7 insurgents were killed and 8 were wounded in airstrikes in Qala Khwaja and Shahar Naw areas, Dahana Ghori district.
Laghman- 3 IED planters were killed and 2 other were wounded in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Alishing district.
Ghazni- 4 insurgents were killed and 6 were wounded in response attacks in Gelan and Andar districts.
Daykundi- 3 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Gajran district.
Herat- one insurgent was killed and 1 round of IED was discovered and defused in response attack in Zahwal district.
Paktikah- one terrorist affiliated to Haqqani network was killed and 1 hideout was destroyed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Sor-Ghamay area, Barmal district.
Paktia- 5 insurgents affiliated to Haqqani network were detained, 1 vehicle, 1 motorbike and amount of weapons & munition were destroyed in Joint Special Forces conducted by ANDSF in Waza Khwah districts.
