57 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 17 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 24 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 12 provinces of the country, as a result, 57 Insurgents were killed, 18 were wounded and 5 including 4 suspects were detained.

Laghman- 17 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, 2 suspects were arrested and 1 depot of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in clearing operation conducted by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces in Qarghaye & Alishing districts.

Helmand- 7 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks and airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Nad Ali & Garmsir districts.

Badakhshan- 7 insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Nasay district.

Baghalan- 6 insurgents were killed and 7 were wounded in mine blast in vicinities of Dand-e Ghori.

Nangarhar- 6 insurgents were killed in clearing operation conducted by ANDSF in Shirzad district.

Jowzjan- 4 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Shah Mirza village, Khan Aqa district.

Farah- 4 insurgents were killed, 2 suspects were arrested and 1 motorbike was destroyed in Joint Special Operation with support of Air Forces in Roukin village, province capital.

Sir-e Pol- 3 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded, Qashqari Pahyeen Dara, Zanjak, Ek Zik and Nowjou Mosque villages were cleared from insurgents presence in clearing operation conducted by ANDSF with support of Air Forces in outskirts of the province capital.

Faryab- 2 insurgents were killed, 1 fighting position and 1 motorbike were destroyed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Pashtun Kut district.

Parwan- one insurgent was killed and 1 weapon was confiscated in response attacks in Bagram district.

Paktikah- one insurgent was detained, amount of weapons & munitions, 6 Pakistani ID-cards and some adverting documents were seized in Joint Special Operation conducted by ANDFS in Barmal district.
