86 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 21 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 23 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 14 provinces of the country, as a result, 86 Insurgents were killed, 18 were wounded and 3 narcotics drug smugglers including 1 suspect were detained.

Herat- 25 insurgents were killed, 6 hideouts and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Chishti Sharif district.

Ghazni- 19 insurgents including Taliban intelligence deputy for Muqur district were killed, 8 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in response attacks & airstrikes in Dehyak and Muqur districts.

Baghalan- 12 insurgent were killed, 2 were wounded, 2 vehicles and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Dahana Ghori district. 

Helmand- 8 insurgents were killed, 1 suspect arrested, 2 vehicles and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in Joint Special Operation and airstrikes in Nahar Saraj & Washir districts.

Takhar- 8 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in airstrikes in Darqad district.

Zabul- 7 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded and 3 vehicles packed with explosives were destroyed in airstrikes in Trang WA Jaldak districts and province capital.

Nangarhar- 3 ISIS insurgents were killed and 3 narcotics drug smugglers were detained in clearing operation & an airstrike in Deh Bala & Khaiwa districts.

Paktikah- 2 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbikes was destroyed in an airstrike in Sharan district.

Kandahar- one insurgent was killed in ANA artillery attacks in Shah Walikut district.

Wardak- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike in Chak district.
