77 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 17 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 22 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 14 provinces of the country, as a result, 77 Insurgents were killed, 33 were wounded and 6 suspects were detained.

Jowzjan- 14 insurgents were killed, 8 were wounded, 6 vehicles, 9 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in an airstrike in Darzab district.

Baghalan- 12 insurgents were killed, 2 including Qari Bakhteyar Taliban shadow deputy governor for Baghalan were wounded, 3 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Dahana Ghori and Dushi districts.

Helmand- 11 insurgents were killed, 2 suspects were arrested, 5 fighting positions, 1 vehicle, 1 depot of weapons & munitions and 500 kg Ammonium Nitrate were destroyed in an airstrike & clearing operation in Nahar Saraj and Garmsir districts.

Nangarhar- 10 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons were destroyed in airstrikes & response attacks in Deh Bala, Shirzad and Lalpur districts.

Ghazni- 7 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes & response attacks in Ab- Band, Qarabagh & Andar districts.   

Samangan- 6 insurgents were killed, 11 were wounded, 22 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in ANA clearing operations in vicinities of province capital.

Zabul- 6 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in an airstrike in Shah Joy and Shinkay districts. 

Badghis- 6 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, 1 motorbikes and 4 fighting positions were destroyed in an airstrike in Bala Murghab district.

Kunduz- 3 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in artillery attacks and clearing operation in Dasht-e Archi district.

Herat- one insurgent was killed and 2 were wounded in response attacks in Zahwal district.

Wardak- one insurgent was killed, 4 suspects were wounded, amount of weapons & munitions, 21 mobile and 1 Pakistani citizen card were confiscated and 1 motorbike was destroyed in an airstrike & joint special operation in Chak district.
