169 Insurgents Were Killed!
Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 20 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 84 Commandos special operations and Air Forces carried out 32 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, These operations were conducted in 13 provinces of the country, As a result, 169 Insurgents were killed and 39 were wounded.
Paktikah- 84 insurgents were killed, 20 were wounded, 23 motorbikes, 1 vehicle and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in in airstrikes in warmami district.
Ghazni- 34 insurgents were killed, amount of weapons & ammunition, 20 military uniform, 5 radio were seized, 26 motorbikes, 1 vehicle, 1 IED facility, 166 round of different IEDs, 1470 kg explosives were destroyed in airstrikes, joint special operation & response attacks in Muqur, Waghaz, Qarabagh districts and province capital.
Faryab-14 insurgents were killed and 12 were wounded in airstrike in Gurziwan district.
Jowzjan - 8 insurgents were killed in airstrike in Quash Tepa district.
Paktikah-Paktia- 7 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in response attacks in Sharan-Zarmat highway.
Uruzgan- 6 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, 11 kg explosives, 11 tunnel were destroyed and 4 round of IED were discovered & defused in airstrikes & Commando Forces clearing operation in Deh Rahwod district and Queri-Ni-Chine Mir Abad area, capital of province.
Nangarhar- 5 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrike in Surkh Rod district.
Helmand- 5 insurgents were killed in airstrike in Nad Ali district.
Wardak- 3 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Nirkh district.
Baghalan- 11 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Baghalan-e Markazi district.
