118 Insurgents Were Killed!
Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 10 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 81 Commandos special operations and Afghan Air Forces carried out 26 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 9 provinces of the country.
As a result, 118 Insurgents including one ISIS fighter were killed, 27 were wounded and 4 were detained.
Faryab- 51 insurgents were killed and 20 were wounded in Commandos Forces special operation & airstrikes in Gurziwan district.
Baghalan- 22 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Pol-e Khomari & Dand-e Ghori districts.
Uruzgan- 18 insurgents were killed, 7 hideouts and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in clearing operation & airstrikes in Shaid Ihsas and Char Chino districts.
Nangarhar- 11 insurgents including one ISIS fighter were killed, 3 were wounded, 2 hideouts, 4 vehicles, 2 motorbikes, amount of weapons & ammunition were seized, and 10 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation & airstrikes in Pachir Wa gam and Surkh Rod districts.
Herat- one insurgent was killed, 4 including 2 suspects were arrested, 2 mobile (smart phone), 2 ID-Tazkera, 28300 Afghani (money), 500 kg opium, amount of weapons & ammunition were seized & 2 vehicles were destroyed in Commandos special operation in Ghoryain district.
Laghman- 3 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in artillery attacks & airstrikes in Alishing and Dawlat Shahayi district.
Ghazni- 3 insurgents were killed in response attacks in vicinities of capital.
Badakhshan- 3 insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in an airstrike in Baharak district.
Balkh- 2 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and 1 depot were destroyed in Commands Forces operation & response attacks in Charbulak district.
Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in an airstrike in Nawzad district.
Kunduz- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in outskirt of the city.
