The Acting Minister of National Defense Met with The Iranian Foreign Minister and his Accompanying Delegation

Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob “Mujahid,” Acting Minister of National Defense, hosted Iranian Foreign Minister Sayed Abbas Araghchi along with his delegation in his office today.

During the meeting, the Acting Minister of National Defense welcomed the Iranian delegation, described Iran and Afghanistan as two neighboring countries with many commonalities, and reiterated the need to strengthen and expand bilateral relations.

The Iranian Foreign Minister while emphasizing the shared interests between the two nations, highlighted the significance of friendly relations and close cooperation in various fields.

In addition, both sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations, economic cooperation, border issues, and other related matters.
