27 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 8 joint offensive & clearance operations, conducted 75 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 57 flights and carried out 14 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 27 Insurgents were killed and 10 were wounded.

These operations were conducted in 6 provinces of the country.

Faryab- 11 insurgents were killed and 2 hideouts were destroyed in ANA Commandos Special Operation in Gurziwan district.

Ghani- 8 insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded, 1 round of IED was discovered & defused and 1 motorbike was destroyed in airstrikes & response attacks in Andar and Muqur districts.

Uruzgan- 6 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in ANA Commandos Special Operation in Trenkut capital of Uruzgan.

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Kajaki district.
