28 Taliban were killed and 10 others, including Mawlavi Sayeed one of the Taliban red unit commanders, were wounded in airstrikes carried out by Afghan Air Forces in support of ANDSF preemptive operations in the Nawa district of Helmand province yesterday. They were planning to attack ANDSF positions when they were targeted.

Additionally, a cache of Taliban ammunition and 12 weapons were destroyed.
