Killing of 27 Taliban in Badakshan Province

Yesterday, the Taliban planned to conduct an attack against Warduj and Nusay Districts in Badakshan Province.

The ANDSF, following intelligence reports of the TB attack plan, prevented these attacks with the support of the Afghan Air Force.

During this operation, 11 Taliban fighters in Warduj District were killed and six others were wounded.

Sixteen additional Taliban fighters were killed in Nusay District, and three others were wounded.

The main headquarters of Qari Fasihuddin, the shadow governor of Badakshan Province, was completely destroyed as a result of these airstrikes.

A large amount of ammunition and weapons was also destroyed. During these strikes, no civilian casualties occurred.
