38 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 12 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 11 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 10 provinces of the country, as a result, 38 Insurgents were killed, 13 wounded and 5 others were detained.

Helmand- 11 insurgents were killed and another wounded in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces and ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack in Nahar Saraj and Sangin districts.

Faryab- 7 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded and 4 enemy positions were destroyed in airstrikes carried by AAF and ANDSF retaliatory attack in Almar and Pashtun Kut districts. 

Balkh- 6 insurgents were killed and another wounded, moreover 1 vehicle packed with explosives was destroyed in AAF airstrikes and ANDSF retaliatory attack in Chamtal & Zara districts.

Takhar- 6 insurgents were killed and 2 others wounded in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Baharak district.

Uruzgan- 6 insurgents were killed and 2 others wounded, moreover a huge amount of weapons & ammunition, 2 hideouts, a kind of bunker were destroyed and 8 rounds of IEDs were recovered & defused in airstrikes carried by AAF and clearing operation conducted by ANDSF in Trenkut capital of province.

Kandahar- 2 insurgents were killed and 3 others wounded during ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy offensives in Shah Walikut district.

Khost- 5 insurgents were arrested and amount of weapons & munitions was confiscated in Joint Special Operation conducted by ANDSF in Sabri district.
