15 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 13 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 12 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 11 provinces of the country, as a result, 15 Insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded and 6 others were detained.   

Helmand- 7 insurgents were killed, 6 detained, 2 motorbikes, amount of weapons & ammunition and 1 vehicle packed with explosives were destroyed in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces and Joint Special Operation in Washir, Nahar Saraj and Khanashin districts.

Uruzgan- 6 insurgents were killed, 8 rounds of IEDs, 200 kg explosives and 1 hideout were destroyed in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces with support of Air Forces in Trenkut, province capital.

Laghman- 2 insurgents were killed and 7 others were wounded in ANDSF artillery attack in Alishing District.
