18 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 14 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 8 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 11 provinces of the country, as a result, 18 Insurgents were killed, 6 were wounded and 10 including 1 suspect were detained.

Paktia- 7 insurgents were killed, 1 suspect was arrested, 2 vehicles, 1 motorbikes and huge amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces with support of Air Forces in Jaji Aryoub and Zarmat districts.

Helmand- 5 insurgents were killed, 2 detained, 1 kg opium was confiscated, 1 IED making facility and 1 explosives depot were destroyed in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces with support of Air Forces in Nahar Saraj and Nad Ali districts.

Balkh- 4 insurgents were killed in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Sholgara district.

Kandahar- 2 insurgents were killed and 4 others were wounded in ANSDF retaliatory attack in Zang-e-tan Village of the Shah Walikut district.

Uruzgan- 2 insurgents were wounded in ANSDF retaliatory attack in Khas-Uruzgan district.

Kunduz- 7 insurgents were detained, amount of weapons & munitions was seized and 10 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces in Char Dara districts and province capital.
