71 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 20 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 22 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 17 provinces of the country, as a result, 71 Insurgents were killed, 32 were wounded and 3 including 1 suspect were detained.  

Kunduz- 27 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and 2 vehicles were destroyed in airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Khan Abad district and province capital.

Takhar- 17 insurgents were killed and 6 other were wounded, 1 vehicle, 6 motorbikes and 2 hideouts were destroyed in airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Dasht-e Qala district.

Farah- 8 insurgents were killed, 1 suspect arrested and 8 fighting positions were destroyed in Joint Special Operation conducted by ANDSF in Dewar Surkh village of Khak-e Safid district and province capital.

Balkh- 8 insurgents were killed and 10 were wounded in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Chamtal district.

Helmand- 6 insurgents were killed and another was wounded in airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Sangin district.

Paktia- 5 insurgents were killed and 3 motorbikes were destroyed in an airstrike carried by Ai Forces in Zarmat district.

Kapisa- 3 insurgents including Attuallah Taliban shadow district governor for Tagab district were killed, 6 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces with support of Air Forces in Tagab district.  

Kandahar- 4 insurgents including a Taliban local commander were killed, 3 were wounded and 6 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in ANA clearing operation and response attacks in Shah Walikut district and province capital.

Khost- one insurgent was killed and 1 weapon was confiscated in ANDSF Joint Special Operation in Shamel Besoud village in vicinities of the province capital.

Badakhshan- 3 insurgents were wounded in ANA response attacks in Yumgan district.

Logar- 2 insurgents were detained and 1 hashish factory was destroyed in clearing operation conducted by Afghan National Army in outskirts of the province capital.
