31 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 18 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 11 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 15 provinces of the country, as a result, 31 Insurgents were killed, 12 were wounded and 5 suspects were detained.

Helmand- 10 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes in Nahar Saraj district & Lashkargah city.  

Baghalan- 7 insurgents including Mujtaba a Taliban local commander were killed, 5 were wounded and 11 fighting positions were destroyed in Afghan National Defense & Security Forces clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Borka and Baghalan-e Markazi districts.

Ghazni- 6 insurgents were killed, 5 suspects arrested, 2 vehicles and 4 motorbikes were destroyed in ANDSF clearing operation in Dehyak district.

Kandahar- 4 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Shah Walikut district.

Jowzjan- 2 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in Commando Forces clearing operation in Darzab district.

Zabul- one insurgent was killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in Shah Joy district.

Balkh- one insurgent was killed and another was wounded in Commando Forces clearing operation in Balkh district.
