52 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 23 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 10 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 17 provinces of the country, as a result, 52 Insurgents were killed, 17 were wounded and 3 were detained.

Kunduz- 14 insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Dasht-e Archi district.

Paktia- 9 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in airstrikes in Sayed Karam & Haji Aryoub districts.

Logar- 7 insurgents were killed, 9 were wounded and 1 vehicle packed with explosive was destroyed in airstrikes in Baraki Barak district and Dag Kalah village of province capital.

Kandahar- 6 insurgents were killed, 11 fighting positions, 1 motorbike, amount of weapons & munitions were destroyed and 23 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in ANA clearing operation in Maiwand district.

Zabul- 5 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in Commando Forces clearing operation in Shah Joy district.

Helmand- 4 insurgents were killed and 1 wounded in an airstrike in Marja district.

Faryab- 3 insurgents were killed, 3 including a Taliban local commander were arrested, 1 hideout and 2 depots of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in clearing operation in Pashtun Kut district.

Nangarhar- 3 ISIS insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Achin district.

Laghman- one insurgent was killed and 4 were wounded in IED blast in Basarah area of province capital.

Ghor- 2 insurgents were killed and 2 weapons was confiscated in response attacks in province capital.

Kapisa- one insurgent was killed in response attack in Tagab district.
