35 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 21 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 10 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 14 provinces of the country, as a result, 35 Insurgents were killed, 8 were wounded and 5 were detained.

Herat- 12 insurgents were killed, 6 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Pashtun Zarghoun district. 

Kandahar- 7 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded, 1 hideout and 1 depot of weapons & munitions were destroyed in artillery attacks & airstrikes in Maiwand district.

Farah- 5 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and 2 fighting positions were destroyed in an airstrike in Qala-I-Kah district.

Baghalan- 5 insurgents were killed in response attacks in Dahana Ghori area.

Kapisa- 3 insurgents were killed and 5 were arrested in clearing operation in Nijrab district.

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded, 14 fighting positions were destroyed and 14 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation in Nahar Saraj district.

Uruzgan- 2 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Char chino district.
