51 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 24 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 14 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 18 provinces of the country, as a result, 51 Insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded and 7 suspects were detained.

Paktia- 11 insurgents were killed in an airstrike & response attacks in Jaji Aryoub district.

Baghalan- 9 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in an airstrike in vicinities of Pol-e Khomari.

Kandahar- 8 insurgents were killed and 2 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation in Shah Walikut district.

Balkh- 6 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Zari and Sholgara districts.

Zabul- 6 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Jaldak area, Shahar Safah district.

Uruzgan- 4 insurgents were killed in response attacks in Khas-Uruzgan district.

Badghis- 3 insurgents were killed, 3 were arrested and amount of weapons & munitions were seized in clearing operation in Jawand district.

Ghazni- 2 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in Dehyak & Jaghatu districts.

Herat- one suicide attacker terrorist was killed, 4 were detained and amount of weapons & munitions were seized in Joint Special Operation in Shindan district.

Farah- one insurgent was killed in response attacks in outskirts of the province capital.
