99 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 24 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 16 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 15 provinces of the country, as a result, 99 Insurgents were killed, 11 were wounded and 5 were detained.

Ghazni- 28 insurgents were killed, 3 vehicle, 2 motorbikes, amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed and 2 motorbikes were seized in clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Ab-Band, Muqur and Andar districts.

Zabul- 22 insurgents were killed, 6 were wounded, 2 hideouts and amount of weapons & munitions were destroyed in Afghan Forces airstrikes in Arghandab district.

Uruzgan- 21 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded, 2 detained, amount of weapons & munitions were seized and 5 fighting positions were destroyed in clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Guizab district.

Kandahar- 12 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Spin Boldak district.

Kunduz- 7 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in an airstrike in Khan Abad district.

Nangarhar- 7 insurgents were killed, 3 arrested and amount of weapons & munitions were seized in airstrike & Commando Forces clearing operation in Shirzad and Achin districts. 

Helmand- one insurgent was killed and another was wounded in clearing operation in Nahar Saraj district.

Paktia- one insurgent was killed in airstrikes in province capital.
