63 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 24 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 16 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 17 provinces of the country, as a result, 63 Insurgents including 12 ISIS fighters were killed, 19 were wounded and 2 were detained.

Nangarhar- 12 ISIS insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Achin and Deh Bala districts.

Baghalan- 11 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in clearing operation & artillery attacks in Dahana Ghori and Naharin districts.

Kandahar- 11 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & munitions were destroyed in airstrikes in Maiwand district.

Kunduz- 9 insurgents were killed, 8 were wounded, 1 detained, 1 RPG (rocket), 1 hideout, 3 depots of weapons & munitions were destroyed and 20 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in Commando Forces clearing operation in Khan Abad district.

Faryab- 6 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Pashtun Kut in district.

Helmand- 5 insurgents were killed and 2 vehicles were destroyed in airstrikes in Nahar Saraj district and Lashkargah city.

Paktia- 4 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded and 1 arrested in airstrikes & clearing operation in Zarmat & Sayed Karam districts.

Balkh- 2 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in Balkh district.

Zabul- 2 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in an airstrike in Mizan district.

Uruzgan- one insurgent was killed and another was wounded in Gomaryain area, province capital.
