52 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 19 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 22 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 16 provinces of the country, as a result, 52 Insurgents were killed, 24 were wounded and 8 including 4 suspects were detained.

Ghazni- 17 insurgents were killed, 13 were wounded and 2 were arrested in Afghan Forces clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Andar, Jaghatu, Dehyak and Ab- Band districts.   

Logar- 7 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and another was detained in airstrikes in Kharwar district and province capital.

Kandahar- 7 insurgents were killed as a result of their mine explosion before reaching the target in Band Amir area, Maiwand district.

Baghalan- 6 insurgents were killed, 7 including Mawlavi Shamshad Taliban shadow district governor for Ruyi Du Ab district of Samangan province were wounded, Arab Tapa, Wardak ha, Mullahyain, Jowia Naw Ahmadzai ha villages in Dand Ghori district, number 1 highways of capital until Pol-e Khomari and Ali Khel village in Killagai were cleared from enemy and the clashes continues in Dand-e Shahabuddin in clearing operation conducted by Afghan Forces with support of Air Forces.

Nangarhar- 6 insurgents including 3 ISIS fighters were killed, 2 were wounded and 4 suspects with 5 weapons and 2 motorbikes were arrested in airstrikes, artillery attacks & response attacks in Deh Bala, Achin, Ghani Khel and Mohmand districts.

Paktikah- 5 insurgents were killed and 3 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in Omana, Dela and Khoshamand districts.

Helmand- 3 insurgents were killed, 1 detained, amount of weapons & ammunition, 2 mobile were seized, 1150 kg opium were destroyed in the area and 15 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in Afghan Forces clearing operation in Garmsir and Lashkargah districts.

Zabul- 2 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in province capital.

Kunduz- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike in Dasht-e Arch district.
