148 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 24 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 82 Commandos special operations and Air Forces carried out 31 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 14 provinces of the country, As a result, 148 Insurgents were killed, 36 were wounded and 13 were detained.

Zabul- 26 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Shahar Safah, Siwary districts and province capital.

Badakhshan- 21 insurgents were killed and 1 depot of weapons & ammunition was destroyed in airstrikes in Raghistan district.

Badghis- 19 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in airstrikes in Bala Murghab district.

Wardak- 18 insurgents were killed and 12 were wounded in response attacks in Jalrez district.

Helmand- 18 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in airstrike in Washir, Musa Qala, Sangin, Grishk and Nad Ali districts.

Uruzgan- 15 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded, 2 hideouts, 10 rounds of IED & 70 kg explosives were destroyed in airstrikes & Commando Forces clearing operation in Deh Rahwod district and Khanaqah capital of province.

Nangarhar- 15 insurgents were killed in ANA clearing operation & airstrikes in Achin district.

Ghazni- 14 insurgents were killed, 11 were wounded, 1 motorbike was seized and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes & clearing operation in Jaghato and Qarabagh districts.

Nimruz- 7 insurgents were killed, 8 were arrested, 6 vehicles were destroyed and amount of weapons ammunition were seized in airstrike and joint special operation in Khashrod & Delaram districts. 

Faryab- 6 insurgents were killed, 8 were wounded and 1 detained in response attacks in Qaysar & Almar districts.

Takhar- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Yangi Qala district.

Paktikah- 2 insurgents were killed in response attack in Waza Khwah district.

Jowzjan- 4 insurgents were arrested and 1 hideout was destroyed in Commando Forces clearing operation in Faizabad district.
