57 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 17 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 91 Commandos special operations and Air Forces carried out 26 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, These operations were conducted in 13 provinces of the country, As a result, 57 Insurgents were killed, 12 were wounded and 14 suspects were detained.

Wardak- 22 insurgents were killed and 1 hideout was destroyed in airstrikes in Nirkh district & Maidan Shahar, capital of Wardak.

Kunduz- 9 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes in Malarghay area, Khan Abad- Imam Sahib district highway.

Herat- 7 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, 12 suspect were arrested, 1 vehicle, 3 Kalashnikovs (Ak-47), 13 magazines, 3 vest of Amos, 1 radio IKM, 11 mobile (phone), 8930 Afghani (money) were seized, and 1 vehicle, 1 motorbike, 350 kg opium & 1 depot of different ammunition were destroyed in joint special operation in Kohsan, Ghoryan and Shindan districts of Herat province.

Ghazni- 8 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Khwaja Omari and Dehyak districts.

Balkh- 2 insurgents were killed, 2 were detained, 2 mobile (phone), 1 notebook, 1 radio battery were confiscated, 2 motorbikes 1 rocket launcher bullet, 3 firework, 1 Kalashnikov magazine, 1 ANA uniform, 1 radio IKM antenna,  4 barrel and 1 bucket opium were destroyed in airstrikes and joint operation in Ali Zai area, Chamtal district.

Nangarhar- 4 insurgents including 2 ISIS fighters were killed in airstrikes in Khogyani & Achin districts.

Helmand- 3 insurgents were killed in airstrike in Marja and Nawa districts.

Zabul- 2 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in response attack in Shah Joy district. 

Kapisa- one insurgent was killed in ANA response attack in Tagab district.
