170 Insurgents Were Killed!    

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 11 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 91 Commandos special operations, Air Forces conducted 167 flights and carried out 45 airstrikes on enemies’ positions for support of Afghan National Army , in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, These operations were conducted in 11 provinces of the country, As a result, 170 Insurgents including 2 ISIS fighters, a shadow district governor and 4 Taliban local commanders were killed, 49 were wounded and 7 were detained.

Uruzgan- 47 insurgents were killed and 11 were wounded in airstrikes in Khas-Uruzgan district.

Balkh- 32 insurgents were killed, 11 were wounded and 4 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in Sholgara and Chamtal districts.

Ghazni- 31 insurgents were killed, 10 were wounded, 7 suspects were arrested, amount of weapons & ammunition were seized, 1 vehicle and 4 motorbikes were destroyed in joint special clearing operation & airstrikes in Waghaz, Dehyak, Ab-Band and capital. 

Wardak- 25 insurgents including Taliban shadow district governor for Nirkh district and 4 Taliban local commanders were killed, 5 were wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in clearing operation & airstrikes in Nirkh & Sayed Abad districts.

Kunduz- 9 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in airstrikes in Imam Sahib, Char Dara districts.

Helmand- 9 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Kajaki, Nahar Saraj and Grishk districts.

Badghis- 6 insurgents were killed and 9 were wounded in Commandos Forces clearing operation in Bala Murghab district.

Baghalan- 4 insurgents were killed and 3 fighting positions were destroyed in airstrikes in Baghalan-e Markazi districts.

Zabul- 3 insurgents were killed and 1 wounded in clearing operation in Arghandab district.

Nangarhar- 2 ISIS insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Khogyani district.

Takhar- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Darqad district.
