117 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 16 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 86 Commandos special operations and carried out 37 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, Air Forces conducted 156 flights in support of Afghan National Army, As a result, 117 Insurgents were killed and 27 were wounded.

These operations were conducted in 14 provinces of the country.

Baghalan- 36 insurgents were killed and 10 were wounded in airstrikes in Baghalan Markazi districts.

Badakhshan- 33 insurgents were killed and 10 were wounded in airstrikes in Jurm & Baharak districts.

Herat- 29 insurgents were killed and 16 were wounded in airstrikes in Oba district.

Wardak- 6 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in vicinities of the city.

Kapisa- 6 insurgents were killed and 1 wounded in response attacks in Tagab & Nijrab districts.

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in airstrikes in Nahar Saraj district.

Balkh- 2 insurgents were killed and 1 wounded in clearing operation in Balkh district.

Zabul- 2 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in response attacks in Shah Joy district.

Ghazni- one insurgent was killed in airstrikes in Andar district.
