119 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 9 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 81 Commandos special operations and Afghan Air Forces carried out 19 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 7 provinces of the country.

As a result, 119 Insurgents were killed and 34 were wounded.

Faryab- 42 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in airstrikes & response attacks in Gurziwan district.

Kunduz- 41 insurgents were killed, 24 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes & clearing operation in outskirt of city.  

Herat- 15 insurgents were killed and 2 vehicles were destroyed in airstrikes in Ghoryain district. 

Zabul- 14 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes & response attacks in Azghar district.

Badakhshan- 3 insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in an airstrike in Baharak district.

Uruzgan- 3 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Shaid Ihsas district.

Paktika- one insurgent was killed, 1 vehicle and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in response attack in Jani Khel district.
