Acting Minister of Defense, Asadullah Khalid meets with the Norwegian Minister of Defence

Acting Minister of Defense, Asadullah Khalid, met with the Norwegian Minister of Defence, Frank Bakke-Jensen, on the sidelines of the NATO Defence Ministerial Meetings.

Among other relevant matters, they discussed counter-terrorism and increasing Norway’s support and assistance to Afghanistan. The Norwegian Minister of Defence mentioned that Norway will increase their assistance, cooperation and presence in Afghanistan.

Asadullah Khalid expressed gratitude for Norway’s assistance to Afghan National Defense and Security Forces.

He also stressed on the significance and importance of the assistance and support of NATO member states in the fight against terrorism in Afghanistan and for ensuring peace and stability in the country.
