36 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 17 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 5 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 15 provinces of the country, as a result, 36 Insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and 3 including 2 suspects were detained.

Zabul- 13 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in an airstrike in Trang Jaldak district.

Parwan- 10 insurgents were killed, 4 Kalashnikovs’ (AK-47) and 2 suicide vests were seized in Joint Special Operation in Bagram district.

Helmand- 7 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & munitions were destroyed in an airstrike in Nahar Saraj district.  

Kunduz- 4 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in an airstrike in Dasht-e Archi district.

Paktikah- 2 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were confiscated in response attacks in Sarobi district.

Laghman- 2 insurgents were killed in response attacks in Alingar district.

Paktia- 2 suspects were arrested in Commando Forces operation in Zarmat district.

Farah- one insurgent was detained in Commando Special Operation in Takhet village, province capital.
