75 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 7 joint offensive & clearance operations, conducted 73 Commandos Special Forces operations, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security, Afghan Air Forces carried out 34 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations in 7 provinces of the country. As a result, 75 insurgents including 6 ISIS (Daesh) were killed, 36 were wounded and another was detained.

Helmand- 28 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded and 1 motorbike was destroyed in airstrikes in Sangin, Grishk and Nawzad districts.

Takhar- 19 insurgents were killed, 11 were wounded, 1 detained and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes and response attacks in Darqad & Ishkamish districts.

Uruzgan- 10 insurgents were killed, 6 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in rocket attacks in Char Chino district.

Nangarhar- 6 ISIS insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Pachir WA gam district.

Ghor- 5 insurgents were killed and 6 were wounded in response attacks in Dawlat Yar district.

Herat- 4 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in artillery attacks in Kishka Kohna district. 

Ghazni– 2 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in response attacks in Ab-Band district.

Wardak- one insurgent was killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in an airstrike in vicinities of capital.
