17 Insurgents Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country          

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 9 joint clearance operations and conducted 81 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country. In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 133 flights and carried out 17 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 17 Insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded and 3 were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in Ghazni, Baghalan, Ghor, Badghis, Nimruz, Uruzgan and Helmand province.

In these operations, 7 insurgents were killed and 3 suspects were detained in Bala Murghab district of Badghis province. 7 insurgents were killed in Guizab district of Uruzgan province.

Similarly, 3 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in Dawlat Yar district of Ghor province.

2 fighting positions were destroyed in Khashrod district of Nimruz province.
