46 Insurgents Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country          

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 7 joint clearance operations and conducted 77 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country. In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 120 flights and carried out 14 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 46 Insurgents were killed, 24 were wounded and 3 were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in Ghazni, Baghalan, Ghor, Nangarhar, Zabul, Kapisa, Kandahar, Paktikah, Herat, Samangan and Nimruz provinces.

In these operations, 32 insurgents were killed, 17 were wounded, 3 were detained and 25 motorbikes were destroyed in Dehyak, Muqur, Andar, Giro and Ab-Band districts of Ghazni province. 6 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in Dawlat Yar district of Ghor province. 5 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in Baghalan e Markazi district of Baghalan province.  

Similarly, 2 ISIS terrorists were killed in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province. An insurgent was killed in Shah Joy district of Zabul province.

 Afghan National Army as the nation’s defense forces, are ready to give sacrifice to bring lasting peace and security to the people and are determined to eradicate terror groups in Afghanistan.
