24 insurgents were killed in different parts of the country
Kabul, Afghanistan: In the past 24 hours, , Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 17 clearing operations and carried out 81 Special Forces tasks in different parts of the country in order to remove security threats and ensure security. Afghan Air Forces also conducted 56 flights supporting Afghan National Army and carried out 3 airstrikes on enemies’ positions. As a result, 24 insurgents were killed and 13 were wounded.
These operations were conducted by the Afghan National Army Forces and with the support of Air forces in Nangarhar, Kapisa, Ghazni, Paktia, Khost, Paktikah, Kandahar, Badghis, Farah, Sir-e Pol, Balkh, Takhar and Helmand provinces.
In these operations, 11 insurgents were killed and 8 were wounded in Ghorak district of Kandahar. 8 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in Andar, Waghaz and Qarabagh districts of Ghazni Province. 8 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in capital of Farah Province. An ISIS fighter was killed in Khogyani district of Nangarhar Province.
