11 Taliban terrorists were killed in Achin district of Nangarhar province!

Afghan National Defense and Security Forces under their active defense posture, conducted a preemptive operation and targeted Taliban terrorists with support from Commando Forces and Afghan Air Forces in vicinity of Momand Dara area of the Achin district of Nangarhar province, yesterday.

11 Taliban terrorists were killed and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed in an airstrike carried out by Afghan Air Forces in support of Commando Forces preemptive operations.

They were planning to attack ANDSF positions when they were targeted by ANA Commando Forces and AAF.

Similarly, the Momand Dara area was cleared off from the Taliban terrorists’ presence and ANDSF placed checkpoints in order to provide better security in different part of the district.
