51 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 19 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 12 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 16 provinces of the country, as a result, 52 Insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded and 14 including 2 suspects were detained.

Nangarhar- 11 insurgents were killed in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Mohmand Dara & Shirzad districts.

Kandahar- 11 insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried by Afghan Air Forces in Shorabak district.

Balkh- 9 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded, 7 including 2 suspects were detained and 2 motorbikes were seized in special clearing operation conducted by ANDSF in Zara, Charbulak and Balkh district.

Kunduz- 8 insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried by Afghan Air Forces in Khan Abad district.

Helmand- 4 insurgents were killed, 7 were arrested, 6 caches of weapons & ammunition, 2 vehicles, 14 motorbikes were destroyed, and 32 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in Joint Special Operation conducted by ANDSF and airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Nahar Saraj, Sangin, Garmsir and Nad Ali and districts. 

Takhar- 4 insurgents were killed and another was wounded during ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemies attack in Baharak district.

Badakhshan- 3 insurgents were killed in ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to insurgent attack in Nasay district.

Uruzgan- one insurgent was killed and another wounded in clearing operation conducted by ANA in the vicinity of province capital.

Khost- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike carried by Afghan Air Forces in Qalandar district.
