22 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 17 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 26 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 12 provinces of the country, as a result, 22 Insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded and 2 were detained.

Takhar- 8 insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Ishkamish district.

Paktia- 4 insurgents were killed and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes carried by Zarmat district.

Kandahar- 3 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded, 4 hideouts were destroyed and 31 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation conducted by Afghan National Army in Khakrez district.

Kunar- 3 insurgents were killed in ANA clearing operation in Sorgul village of the Sokay district.

Faryab- 2 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Shirin Tagab district.  

Badghis- 2 insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Bala Murghab district.

Daykundi- 2 insurgents were arrested in Joint Special Operation conducted by ANDSF in Bala Dasht village of the Gajran district.
