78 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 16 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 36 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 14 provinces of the country, as a result, 78 Insurgents were killed, 29 were wounded and another suspect was detained.

Ghazni- 27 insurgents were killed, 2 vehicles, 4 motorbikes, 2 hideouts were destroyed and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in airstrikes & Commando Joint Operation in Dehyak, Rashidan, Qarabagh and Khwaja Omari districts.

Kunduz- 17 insurgents were killed, 11 were wounded, amount of weapons & ammunition were seized and 10 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in airstrikes and clearing operation in Dasht-e Archi district.

Logar- 12 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in Commando Forces Operation in Charkh district.

Zabul- 8 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Shah Joy district. 

Faryab- 7 insurgents were killed, 6 were wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes & clearing operation in Qaramqol district.

Wardak- 4 insurgents including Taliban local commanders each Qari Janat Gul, Qari Gul and Qari Qadir were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes in Nirkh district.

Baghalan- 2 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded, 1 depot and 1 vehicle were destroyed I airstrikes in Dand-e Ghori district.

Helmand- one insurgent was killed, 3 were wounded, 1 suspect detained, 3 fighting positions were destroyed and 4 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in ANA clearing operation in Nahar Saraj district.

Herat- one vehicle packed with explosive was destroyed in an airstrike in Kushki Kuhna district.
