28 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 13 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 16 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 14 provinces of the country, as a result, 28 Insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded and 1 was detained.

Logar- 8 insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrike in Kharwar district.

Herat- 7 insurgents including Mullah Abdul Mateen Khadam, Taliban shadow district governor for Oba district were killed, 7 were wounded and another was arrested in clearing operation in Oba & Zir-Koh districts.

Ghazni- 7 insurgents were killed, 1 motorbike and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Andar, Giro and Qarabagh districts.

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Marja district.

Uruzgan- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Khas-Uruzgan district.

Nangarhar- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Khogyani district.
