66 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 20 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 83 Commandos special operations and Air Forces carried out 29 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, These operations were conducted in 12 provinces of the country, As a result, 66 Insurgents including Taliban shadow governor for Samangan province were killed and 27 were wounded.

Farah- 19 insurgents were killed and 10 were wounded in airstrikes in Anar Dara district and Raj & Karez Shaikh ha areas, province capital.

Helmand- 15 insurgents were killed and 1 hideout was destroyed in airstrikes in Nad Ali district.

Ghazni- 11 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle, 1 motorbike and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Andar, Dehyak, Qarabagh and Ab-Band districts.

Samangan- Mullah Noor Uddin Taliban shadow governor for Samangan province along with five of his colleagues were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrike in Dara-I-Suf district.

Nangarhar- 5 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in airstrike in Surkhrod district.

Kandahar- 4 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded and 1 hideout was destroyed in airstrike in Shah Walikut district.

Balkh- 2 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded, 1 vehicle and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrike in Balkh district.

Logar- 2 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded and 1 motorbike was destroyed in airstrike in Azra district.

Wardak- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrike in Nirkh district.

Takhar- one insurgent was killed and 6 were wounded in airstrikes in Yangi Qala district.
