55 Insurgents Were Killed!    

abul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 11 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 89 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 154 flights and carried out 10 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 55 Insurgents were killed, 31 were wounded and 3 suspects were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Faryab, Uruzgan, Zabul, Kapisa, Helmand, Farah, Logar, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Kunduz, Sir-e Pol and Balkh provinces.

Faryab- 21 insurgents were killed and 11 were wounded in airstrikes in Bilcheragh district. 

Uruzgan- 10 insurgents were killed and 2 hideouts were destroyed in airstrikes & rocket attacks (RPG) in Khas-e Uruzgan district and Trenkut.

Zabul- 8 insurgents were killed and 13 were wounded in response attacks in Daychopan district.

Kapisa- 6 insurgents were killed in ANA Commandos (SOC) clearing operation in Tagab district.

Helmand- 5 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded and 1 hideout were destroyed in airstrikes in Marja & Dishu districts.  

Farah- 4 insurgents were killed, 6 were wounded and 3 vehicles were destroyed in airstrikes in Balabulok district.

Logar- one insurgent was killed and 3 suspects were detained in Commandos Forces clearing operation
